- Registered Nurse - CVOR

Schedule / Job Type
- Rotating shifts, temporary assignment for 16-32 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub in CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) procedures, including complex surgeries such as ortho, neuro, ENT, plastics, and general surgery
- Provide coverage for call and weekend rotations, with potential float to alternative healthcare facilities as needed
- Maintain flexibility to work holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Epic EMR systems within the past 2 years
- Collaborate with heart team and other surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural success
Required Qualifications
- Valid BLS certification; CNOR certification preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in a similar large, teaching hospital setting
- Circulating experience required; scrub experience preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR system within the last 2 years
- General RN experience with at least 1-2 years of relevant skills from a similar-sized teaching facility
- Ability to work 2 out of 4 major holidays as part of the assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotics surgeries and neuro procedures
- Knowledge of orthopedic and plastics surgeries
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
