Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for outpatient oncology patients, including post-surgical and pre-operative teaching.
- Assist with phone triage, FMLA paperwork, and patient education regarding breast reconstruction procedures.
- Support the care team with patient assessments and follow-up procedures in a busy outpatient setting.
- Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and safety standards for cancer care patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver seamless patient experiences and quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- EPIC electronic health record experience.
- Ability to perform phone triage and patient education.
- Experience with outpatient oncology or surgical care preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology certification such as OCN is a plus.
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred but not required; first-time travelers are welcome.
- Experience in outpatient or clinic nursing settings.
