Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients
- Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to changes according to protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Adhere to hospital policies and standards for patient safety and comfort
- Assist in emergency situations and deliver patient education regarding postpartum care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Fetal Heart Monitoring and AWHONN certification preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting with obstetric patients
- Knowledge of current maternity care practices and protocols

Additional Notes
- Must be willing to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)
- No local candidates within 50 miles of Cumming, GA
