Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under supervision
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and exercises
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the state of California
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow treatment protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in outpatient or outpatient rehab settings
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual skills are a plus
