Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care to patients in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver quality healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- State-specific licensure and certification.
- Proven experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, charting, and medication administration.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working night shifts in LTC or SNF settings.
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs efficiently.
