Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing functions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with facility policies.
- Promote patient safety and comfort throughout therapy sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of professional SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) experience.
- Valid state license/certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Proven ability to assess and treat speech and language disorders.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a geriatric or long-term care environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
