Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, Contract, 16-32 weeks duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, including MS Tele and ED Hold patients
• Assist with monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to patient needs promptly
• Work every other weekend and be flexible to meet unit and patient care requirements
• Participate in bi-weekly orientations and ensure all documentation and compliance standards are met
• Support the unit with float and resource pool coverage, including working in multiple tele units as scheduled
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality nursing care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience in a comparable setting
• Active New York State RN license or proof of application with applied date
• BLS certification (AHA) required; CMSRN preferred
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date
• Epic EMR experience from the past 2 years is mandatory
• Ability to work scheduled night shifts and adjust to unit needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a teaching hospital or trauma-level 2 facility preferred
• Familiarity with IV pumps, bladder scanners, and blood draws off central lines
• Additional certifications such as CMSRN or other relevant specialties are a plus
