Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
- Monitor patient health and record vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care needs of residents.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document all care activities thoroughly and maintain compliance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN or LPN license in the state of New Mexico.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents and team members.
- Professional, compassionate demeanor with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working night shifts.
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations applicable to LTC/SNF settings.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
