Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
- Provide therapy services to patients to improve their daily living and functional skills.
- Monitor patient progress and document therapy sessions accurately.
- Support patients in achieving their therapy goals through personalized care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
- State licensure or registration as required by California state regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in outpatient or rehabilitation settings.
- Knowledge of billing procedures and documentation standards.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
