Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week contract, nights shift (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.), rotating every other weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a step-down/high acuity unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data and read EKG strips
- Initiate IVs and maintain proper IV care
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (Cerner)
- Respond effectively to patient needs and emergency situations
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry and step-down experience
- At least 1 year of experience in MS/Telemetry units
- Ability to read and interpret EKG strips and telemetry data
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience not required but advantageous
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Additional Notes
- Scrubs are not provided; candidates should wear burgundy and/or white
- No travel experience required
- Facility enforces attendance policies, limiting call-offs to 2-3 per contract
