Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac telemetry and responding to patient needs.
- Float between units as needed, adapting to different patient care environments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Follow hospital protocols and maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations.
- Assist with on-call duties as assigned, providing quality care during night hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse (RN) license in Texas.
- Ability to work night shifts on a regular schedule.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
- Strong clinical skills in cardiac telemetry and patient monitoring.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a telemetry or acute care setting.
- Familiarity with hospital electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing patient needs.
