Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care in the operating room, supporting various surgical procedures.
• Circulate and assist during surgeries such as ENT, General Surgery, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, and Plastics.
• Prepare patients pre-operatively and support post-operative recovery efforts.
• Proficiently scrub in on selected procedures, including vascular surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse license in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Ability to scrub proficiently, particularly in vascular cases; circulating competency is desirable.
• Must have worked for a Providence-affiliated facility at least 3 months prior to this travel assignment if previously employed there.
• Flexibility with shift start times (7am, 9am, 11am, 3pm) and shift lengths (8/10/12 hours).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a variety of surgical specialties including ENT, General Surgery, Neuro/Spine, and Orthopedics.
• Comfortable working in a standard community hospital surgical setting.
• Previous travel experience considered a plus.
