Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
- Utilize strong Medical-Surgical and Neurology skills to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Follow unit-specific policies, including floating to other units or campuses as required due to census needs, performing tasks within demonstrated competencies.
- Comply with holiday staffing policies, with required work hours including two of the three main holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in South Carolina or appropriate state reciprocity.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Strong clinical skills in Medical-Surgical and Neurology patient care.
- Ability to float to various units, performing tasks within competency.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
- Experience working in a hospital environment with float policies.
- Familiarity with Prisma Health protocols and documentation systems.
