Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery procedures in a busy hospital setting.
- Assist during CVOR surgeries, ensuring adherence to safety and procedural protocols.
- Maintain certification from NBSTSA and hold current CSTAHA BLS certification.
- Participate in call coverage: at least two days per week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule.
- Cover varying shift lengths, primarily 4x10-hour days, with flexibility for holiday coverage and float duties.
- Follow hospital policies including floating to different units or campuses as needed, with competencies previously demonstrated.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification from NBSTSA.
- Current CSTAHA BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of hospital CVOR experience.
- Able to work call rotations including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting, particularly with cardiovascular procedures.
- Ability to float between units and adapt to different clinical environments.
