Travel, 13-week assignment, weekdays with rotating weekends and holidays, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures including neuro (head, neck, spine), abdominal (MRCP, MRA, liver, kidneys), and MSK exams (extremities, arthrograms).
- Operate advanced MRI equipment (GE Explorer Lift Signa 1.5T) while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to deliver high-quality imaging services.
- Adhere to unit-specific policies, safety protocols, and exam protocols for accurate and efficient imaging.
- Maintain proper documentation and access to protocols via integrated scanner software.
- Provide excellent patient care and communication in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI technologist certification/license.
- At least 1 year of MRI technologist experience.
- Ability to work independently with radiologist support.
- Strong patient care and safety skills.
- Proficiency with MR procedures and imaging protocols.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with neuro, abdominal, and MSK MRI exams.
- Ability to adapt protocols for varied patient needs.
- Willingness to learn new procedures and technologies, including upcoming software upgrades.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented personality.
