Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients with respiratory needs.
- Administer treatments, medications, and respiratory therapies as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respiratory status regularly.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory management and treatment protocols.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Illinois.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment.
- Strong assessment and clinical skills in respiratory care.
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working with respiratory patients or in a respiratory care unit.
- Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced respiratory interventions.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
