Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location
• Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type
• Days shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, progress, and wellbeing
• Perform IV starts and ensure adherence to clinical protocols
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective labor management
• May be required to float to cover other units as needed
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery (L&D) nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Valid nursing license for the state of Ohio
• Certified in NCC C-EFM or acceptable equivalent (e.g., AWHONN Advanced certification)
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior travel or agency nursing experience in L&D
• Strong skills in IV placement and fetal monitoring
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments across different units
