Registered Nurse - NICU
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Schedule / Job Type: Travel, Night shift, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III or IV NICU setting
• Monitor and document patient status utilizing Centricity Perinatal and Meditech systems
• Assist with invasive procedures such as PIV insertions, feeding tube placements, lab draws, and catheterizations
• Support respiratory management including airway care and participating in intubation, surfactant administration, and central line placements
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and certification requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license
• Minimum of one year of NICU nursing experience in a Level III or IV unit
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
• Ability to perform procedures such as PIV, lab draws, airway management, and central line care

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with advanced neonatal equipment and technology
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in an acute care setting
• Experience in a highly experienced NICU team with staff holding 20+ years of NICU expertise
