Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Provide therapeutic treatments and interventions to patients under supervision.
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and confidentiality regulations.
- Support patient care activities to promote recovery and health improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Recent graduate or experienced in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting preferred.
- Ability to comply with COVID-19 testing requirements (72 hours prior to start date with results issued 48 hours before).
- Basic understanding of patient care procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- SNF healthcare experience.
- Familiarity with relevant safety and documentation protocols.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
