Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiovascular surgical patients in a 30-bed CVICU.
• Monitor and respond to patient changes, ensuring stability and safety.
• Administer medications, treatments, and assess patient progress.
• Document patient care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient recovery plans.
• May float to other units including Medical/Surgical as needed.
Required Qualifications
• Current California RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• EPIC charting experience
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in a cardiovascular or ICU setting
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients independently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
