Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a 30-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitor and respond to the needs of medium to high acuity cardiovascular patients, including post-surgical and medical cases.
- Document patient progress and treatments accurately within the EPIC electronic charting system.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and clinical standards for critical care.
Required Qualifications
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- EPIC charting experience
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ability to float to other hospital units, including Medical/Surgical
- Strong critical thinking and clinical skills in a fast-paced environment
