Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shift, travel assignment, 13-week duration
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Intermediate Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Step-down unit
- Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry, ensuring timely interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in electronic medical records (Cerner)
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or appropriate state
- At least 2 years of RN experience, preferably in IMC, PCU, or step-down units
- Telemetry competency
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to float to other units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent progressive care or step-down unit experience
- Strong patient-centered communication skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
