Key Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients undergoing cardiac and angiogram procedures, including admission, recovery, outpatient TEE, and cardioversion in the Cath lab recovery area.
- Monitor and assist patients in the 5-bay recovery space, ensuring smooth post-procedure recovery.
- Collaborate with a second RN for patient care and recovery activities.
- Utilize Epic EMR and Pyxis medication systems for documentation and medication management.
- Follow unit-specific training and orientation protocols with designated preceptors.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ nursing experience, preferably in a cardiac or procedural environment.
- Experience with procedural patient care in a Cath lab or similar setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a cardiac cath or electrophysiology lab.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR and Pyxis systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
