Key Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures using advanced equipment.
• Ensure all procedures meet quality and safety standards, adhering to departmental protocols.
• Obtain and verify patient information, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns.
• Start IVs on outpatients and handle POC (point-of-care) testing as required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for each imaging study.
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver efficient and effective patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Completed associates degree in Chemistry or relevant field.
• Valid certification in computed tomography (CT) imaging.
• Proven experience with GE Hi Def or Revolution CT scanners.
• Must have Toshiba scanner experience (preferred).
• Level 1 trauma experience in inpatient acute care setting.
• Peripheral IV skills and the ability to start IVs on outpatients.
• BILH cover sheet and flu vaccination required prior to start.
• Must have recent travel experience and be experienced with inpatient trauma cases.
• Cannot be first-time travelers; must have worked within the last 6 months for the client or affiliated facility.
• Authorization to work in the US.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with weekends and holiday coverage.
• Ability to handle a minimum of 72 guaranteed hours biweekly.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced trauma environment.

Additional Notes

• No block scheduling; every other weekend at minimum.
• Weekly orientation sessions (every Monday, barring holidays).

• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application.
