Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Assess patients' communication and swallowing abilities, developing individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy sessions aimed at improving speech, language, and cognitive-communication skills.
- Document patient progress and communicate with the interdisciplinary team regarding treatment.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Professional experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a SNF environment preferred.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
