- Full-time, 3 or 4x12-hour day shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to obstetrical patients in a high-volume Level III Obstetrical Unit
- Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care for mothers and newborns
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care in electronic charting system
- Adapt to unit needs by floating between labor and postpartum units as required
- Maintain compliance with unit protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of related obstetrical nursing experience
- Valid and pending licenses accepted
- ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and BCLS certifications
- Experience in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum units
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment and get up to speed quickly
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible scheduling
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a Level III Obstetrical Unit or similar setting
- Strong clinical skills in labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing unit needs and staffing demands
