Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient physical therapy services to pediatric patients with acute or rehab needs.
• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for children requiring inpatient care.
• Collaborate with medical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately in accordance with hospital policies.
• Maintain and adhere to all safety and compliance standards.
• Perform treatments and interventions as needed during designated shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California State physical therapy license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pediatric inpatient settings, acute or rehab.
• Strong pediatric clinical skills and knowledge of inpatient therapy practices.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a hospital environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a children’s hospital setting preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfort with flexible scheduling and on-call opportunities if needed.
