Key Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Adhere to scheduled hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, five days a week
- Provide on-call coverage from 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with callbacks only by a cardiologist, every 3rd or 4th week
- Work scheduled weekends every 3rd or 4th weekend, with weekdays off as compensation
- Maintain accurate patient data and imaging documentation
Required Qualifications
- Certification in echocardiography or a related ultrasound specialty
- Ability to perform TTE and TEE procedures
- Strong understanding of cardiac imaging protocols
- Current state license or credentials for ultrasound or sonography
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in cardiac sonography or echocardiography preferred
- Experience with on-call procedures and weekend scheduling
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
