Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room for orthopedic and neurological procedures
- Assist in perioperative patient management, ensuring safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare and maintain sterile environments
- Participate in weekend and weekday call rotations on a 4x10 schedule, including on-call shifts every 4-5 weekends and one weeknight on call
- Adhere to regional performance expectations, with contract termination possible if performance standards are not met
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Nebraska
- Operating Room (OR) experience required, specifically in orthopedic and neuro procedures (Level 1 or 2 experience preferred)
- Experience with weekend and weekday call shifts
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and perioperative nursing protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma or neurological OR
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced surgical environment
