13-week contract, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), options for 36 or 48-hour shifts, full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to post-operative kidney transplant patients and those with complex conditions in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting
• Perform invasive procedures such as IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Manage patients requiring advanced interventions including chest tubes and invasive hemodynamic devices (e.g., Swan-Ganz)
• Administer medications and continuous infusions like Milrinone, Dopamine, and Dobutamine
• Monitor and respond to patients at moderate to high risk for dysrhythmias and pulmonary hypertension
• Conduct assessments and interventions every 2 hours, ensuring patient stability and safety

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a similar PCU/IMC/Stepdown environment
• Valid current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Ability to start IVs and perform telehealth monitoring
• Willingness to work 3 out of 5 major holidays
• Must be able to begin work on either 09/08 or 09/22 with no RTO during the first 2 weeks of employment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH certification is a plus
• Experience with pulmonary hypertension management and invasive hemodynamic monitoring
• Handling complex post-op cases including kidney transplants and chest tubes
