Key Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography (CT) scans including trauma, stroke, head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, and CTA procedures.
- Operate GE Revolution 512 scanner, GE Evolution 128 scanner, GE 64 slice scanner, and upcoming new equipment.
- Ensure quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols and patient care standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide effective patient services.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech EMR system.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT registered technologist certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of radiology/CT experience.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, independent environment.
- Experience with trauma and stroke imaging procedures.
- Strong IV skills and patient communication abilities.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with advanced imaging modalities and new technology in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of stroke, trauma, and CTA imaging protocols.
- Experience working in a comprehensive stroke center or Level 1 trauma facility.
- Positive attitude, excellent communication, customer service focus, and the ability to work independently.
