Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, contract (13 weeks)
• Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown monitored settings.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage potent non-titratable drips.
• Care for respiratory patients, including those with trachs, BiPAP, and Airvo.
• Collaborate with a team of RNs, PCTs, and charge staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to unit policies and procedures, including documentation and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications
• Active RN license in Texas or eligible to practice in the state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and respiratory patient care.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to unit protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in telemetry, TCU, or stepdown units.
• Strong team player with openness to feedback.
• Experience with Meditech EMR system.
