Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 13-week contract (16-20 weeks preferred), nights shift, float to various units
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology and hematology patients in a 35-bed medical and radiation oncology unit
• Float across Stepdown/Advanced Care units, adhering to targeted patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and IV drips, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Assess, monitor, and interpret EKG strips; perform and pass online tele-competency assessments
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for patient documentation and care planning
• Follow infection control protocols, including N95 fitting and PAPR use when required
Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse license in Ohio
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent ICU or Stepdown/PCU experience (ICU alone does not qualify)
• Experience with oncology, sickle cell, or chemo certification strongly preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification, with the ability to read and interpret EKG strips
• EPIC electronic health record experience
• Must demonstrate 1:5 ratio experience in work history section for Stepdown or PCU placements
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior travel nursing experience in similar settings
• Experience working with complex oncology and hematology patients
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Experience with high-acuity patient care on a mixed acuity unit
