Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), rotating holidays, every other weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy care for pediatric, neonatal, and infant patients in a teaching hospital setting
- Administer treatments and monitor patient responses within scope of practice
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document treatments accurately in electronic medical records system
- Float within scope to sister facilities as needed based on experience and facility needs
Required Qualifications
- RRT certification (National Board for Respiratory Care)
- South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license or eligible to obtain
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric, neonatal, and infant respiratory experience
- Epic electronic charting experience preferred
- Ability to work a 3x12 night schedule and accommodate block scheduling with prior approval
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric, neonatal, and infant respiratory care experience
- Experience with Epic EHR system
- Ability to work independently within a hospital environment
