Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting.
- Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and document care activities accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and patient confidentiality.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and active nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, orthopedics, or surgical units.
- Strong clinical skills in ortho/surgical nursing.
- Ability to work night shifts and holidays.
- Demonstrated work history with no gaps greater than 60 days.
- Must possess required certifications, reference checks, and Nursys license verification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a hospital setting, specifically in orthopedics or surgical units.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
