Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures for outpatient and inpatient cases in a busy hospital setting
- Operate Siemens CT scanners for a variety of exams including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal
- Assist with advanced procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, brain perfusions, and colonography
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining image quality and adherence to protocols
- Collaborate with medical staff in a Level 1 trauma center, managing complex cases and high-volume workload
- Follow all safety standards including contrast administration and IV starts as needed
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in CT (must have at time of submission)
- 2+ years of CT scanning experience in a hospital or trauma center setting
- BLS certification
- Experience with Siemens scanners preferred
- Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior work in Level 1 trauma, teaching, or large hospital environments
- Skills in IV starts, portable imaging, biopsies, and specialized exams like Ct Arthrography and Myelography
- Experience with complex, high-acuity cases and managing multiple procedures
