Job Title

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, managing acute and post-acute cases.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, ensuring timely interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize electronic medical records system to document patient information accurately.
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring quality care and safety.
• Respond effectively to patient needs and emergent situations during night shifts.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN licensure in the state of Maryland or current State RTO Restrictions.
• Minimum of 2 years of IMC experience; ICU/IMC experience preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to manage a 1:4 patient ratio and work flexible nights.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience managing complex patient cases in a stepdown or ICU setting.
• Ability to float within scope to other units as needed.
• Willingness to work a block schedule is not preferred.
