Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shift (7PM - 7AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients.
- Assist with procedures such as intubation, central line placement, IVs, lab draws, and phototherapy.
- Monitor patient conditions using bedside physiologic monitors and ventilators.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans based on acuity levels.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of safety and patient care.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year NICU experience.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Valid RN license.
- Experience with Omnibeds and GE ventilators.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in Pediatrics or Critical Care (CPN).
- Proficiency with Meditech EHR system.
- Experience performing procedures such as intubation and central line placement.
