Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an intensive care unit setting
- Collaborate with medical providers and care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately and thoroughly
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care
- Advocate for patients and support their recovery and well-being through compassionate care
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and uphold clinical standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida RN license or approved multistate license with 60 days to obtain Florida licensure if applicable
- At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience, preferably in higher acuity settings such as ICU or ED
- BLS and ACLS certifications obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 1 year of hire (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of evidence-based practices and patient safety protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or comparable high-acuity environment
- Strong commitment to patient outcomes, learning, and teamwork
- Excellent communication skills to educate and advocate for patients and families
