Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ICU setting in collaboration with medical providers and care team members.
• Monitor and perform procedures as ordered, ensuring timely and thorough documentation in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care, translating complex medical information into understandable terms.
• Advocate for patients and support their understanding of disease management, lifestyle modifications, and recovery processes.
• Participate in evidence-based practices and continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance care quality and outcomes.
• Coordinate holistic treatment plans with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety.

Required Qualifications

• Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license.
• At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience, preferably in higher acuity settings such as ICU or step-up units.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start.
• Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in ICU, CCU, or other high-acuity care settings.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
