Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location: Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts, Travel assignment (13 weeks)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on step-down, medical-surgical, and progressive care units.
• Monitor and manage patients with chest tubes, trachs, cardiac drips, and ventilated patients.
• Perform procedures such as wound dressing changes, trach care, and chest tube management.
• Utilize electronic medical records system to document patient care activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Ability to work with trachs and vented patients.
• Experience with electronic medical records, preferably Cerner.
• Flexibility and strong clinical competence.
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Prior experience working in IMC, PCU, or step-down units.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system.
