Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intensive Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown units.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including dysrhythmias, and respond to patient needs accordingly.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage peripheral lines, PICC lines, and titrate medication drips as ordered.
- Adhere to safety and compliance standards, including completing required exams such as Pass/Fail EKG.
- Support staff coverage by floating as needed across multiple hospital campuses.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar setting.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
- Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and interpretation.
- Proficient in peripheral line and PICC line management.
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations.
- Must pass all compliance requirements by deadlines.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a Stepdown or intermediate care setting.
- Familiarity with patient titration protocols.
- Flexibility to float between hospital campuses as needed.
- First-time travel nurses are welcome.
