Key Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis evaluations and provide immediate support for individuals in distress.
• Assess clients' mental health needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
• Document evaluations and treatment plans accurately within electronic charting systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable licensing and safety standards.
• Participate in household crises intervention and support emergency protocols.

Required Qualifications

• NY State license in good standing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent crisis evaluation experience.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting system.
• Ability to read and interpret heart rhythms confidently, with passing scores on hospital proctored rhythm identification tests (80%+ accuracy).
• Current flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption submitted at least two weeks prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in emergency department or hospital settings.
• Familiarity with hospital protocols and rhythm interpretation.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday shifts.
