Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, rotating shifts (4-8 or 4-10 hours, Monday - Friday)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced breast imaging procedures, including mammography, stereotactic biopsies, and needle localizations
- Operate and maintain mammography and ultrasound rooms, ensuring imaging quality and patient comfort
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to diagnose disease and injury
- Adhere to established protocols and safety standards during procedures
- Assist in procedural documentation and patient care coordination
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
- ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT-M) and Radiology (ARRT-R)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Tech
- At least 1 year of experience in stereotactic biopsy and needle localization procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in outpatient or hospital breast imaging settings
- Strong patient communication skills and attention to detail
