Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Location: Cleveland, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, contract, Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
• Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and respond promptly to patient needs.
• Conduct assessments, update patient records, and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital protocols and procedures.
• Support patient education and discharge planning as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments.
• Recent experience (travel experience acceptable) in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing, totaling at least 18 months.
• Valid Ohio or compact state RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a large hospital environment.
• Ability to adapt to variable shift schedules and rotating shifts.
• Strong assessment and clinical skills in acute care settings.
