Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Electrophysiology (EP) and Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
- Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care for cardiac procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and medical team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Follow all safety protocols and documentation requirements related to electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Maintain sterile techniques and operational standards within the EP lab.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during complex cardiac interventions.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in cardiology or electrophysiology.
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a cardiac cath lab or electrophysiology lab.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Knowledge of EP procedures, equipment, and patient care protocols.
