Key Responsibilities
• Provide adult critical care respiratory therapy in a busy teaching hospital setting.
• Monitor and treat patients with complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular conditions, including those on ECMO, IABP, and Impella support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic electronic health record system.
• Float within scope to other units if needed, including possible coverage at main hospital facilities, following same policies.
• Comply with all hospital policies, equipment, and safety standards.

Required Qualifications
• North Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) certification or South Carolina RRT license in hand at start date.
• Minimum of 2 years adult critical care respiratory therapy experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must have valid RRT credential.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in a Magnet, teaching, or Level I trauma hospital.
• Previous experience with complex cardiovascular patients and advanced life support devices.
