Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) department.
- Circulate and document procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams during catheterization and EP procedures.
- Be available for call rotations, including weekends and weeknights, as assigned.
- Participate in orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety tests.
- Cover at least every other holiday shifts, maintaining high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent and perm experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Experience in circulating and documenting procedures in the Cath Lab/EP.
- Ohio licensed or valid Compact State license in hand.
- BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA.
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
- Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and demonstrate medication safety during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting in cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology.
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with cardiology procedures.
- Ability to work flexible call schedules, including weekends and holidays.
