Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, temporary travel assignment
• 13-week duration, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shifts, including weekends

Key Responsibilities
• Assess patients' mental health status, recognizing signs of psychiatric disorders, substance use, and behavioral issues
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, set goals, and evaluate outcomes for mental health patients
• Administer psychiatric medications, monitor for side effects, and manage medication-related interventions
• Provide crisis intervention support, de-escalation, and short-term management of patients experiencing acute behavioral crises
• Document patient observations, vital signs, and clinical assessments using Meditech system
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including safety protocols and patient communication standards

Required Qualifications
• Active Blue Card CPR and CPI certification
• BLS certification required
• Ability to assess mental health conditions and recognize emergency situations
• Strong communication and therapeutic skills for building rapport with patients
• Experience with psychiatric medication administration and monitoring
• Flexibility to work three 12-hour shifts per day, including weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in behavioral health or psychiatric inpatient settings
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and de-escalation techniques
• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations across age groups, including adolescents and adults
