Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients.
• Implement treatment plans and therapeutic activities as directed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure patient goals are met.
• Adhere to all regulatory and facility guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Ability to pass background checks including criminal, federal, and statewide searches.
• Submission of required credentials: resume, license verification, references, criminal background checks, and other compliance items.
• Completion of 8 hours of dementia training.
• Proof of immunization or screening as required (e.g., PPD or Quantiferon, chest X-ray).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in skilled nursing facilities (SNF) highly preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of therapeutic interventions for a variety of patient needs.
